My Thoughts on why students should NOT have homework

When I was a high schooler, I had a lot of homework. I never felt like I had enough time to finish my daily homework, and I say daily because I was literally doing my homework every day. I would miss out on hours of sleep, stay up late and night, and even pull all-nighters, sometimes falling asleep at 1pm after crashing while doing my homework.
As you can imagine, with such heavy homework on my plate, the quality of the homework was not my best. I used to think it was because I had terrible time management.
I felt overwhelmed with the total lack of balance, and I eventually got sick of having to do my homework on my own time. That was when I started completing my assigned homework at the end of the day when I was at school. I started doing everything school related at school and during my school time, including extra assignments.
I saw the biggest change in my grade level when I did this. I was getting good grades in less time and feeling less stressed out, as I had more time to spend with my friends and family doing more fun stuff. So, as a practical exercise, I would like to encourage you to give it a try.

- Try to complete your homework during school hours or in a dedicated study period. This practice not only helps manage time effectively but also frees up evenings for rest, hobbies, and family time.
